Mercedes-Benz Mobility and BMW Group intend to sell their car-sharing joint venture SHARE NOW to Stellantis. SHARE NOW was established in 2019 combines the DNA of car2go, which was developed by the former Daimler AG, and DriveNow, the BMW Group’s offering. Revenge of the Electric Car

BMW’s Mini is rolling out its electric car in three phases. In March, BYD chief executive officer Wang Chuanfu announced that in the first half of 2010 the company will sell only 100 e6 cars, to a taxi company in Shenzhen. Total cars initially available: 4,700. Other automakers are also proceeding cautiously.

A gasoline-powered car that gets 20 miles to the gallon - say, a Chevy Impala or a BMW X3 - will have annual fuel costs of $1,200 and generate about 6.6 Both will be sold first in China, primarily to fleet users: the government, post office, utilities, and taxi companies, all of which will build central fast-charging facilities.
