The university is taking part in an utility rate program developed by its local utility New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC), electrification software provider Bellawatt, and Fermata Energy. When the price of electricity is higher, PSU can then discharge the batteries and sell the energy back to NHEC.

I went and spoke to their City Council and said “For $50,000 a house I’ll put in solar AND battery systems and take you off the grid. He runs a company called solarsolar at solarsolar.com He wrote the bible of the industry years ago “The New Solar Electric Home” (now in its 3rd printing). 50,000 per house. Not really.
