Ford detailed seven of the 13 new global electrified vehicles it plans to introduce in the next five years, including hybrid versions of the iconic F-150 pickup and Mustang in the US, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Transit Custom van in Europe and a fully electric SUV with an expected range of at least 300 miles (483 km) for customers globally.

In addition, the brand will remain committed to vehicles powered with compressed natural gas (CNG) as well as internal combustion engines. To be eligible for the full credit, a vehicle must be assembled in the US; at least 50% of the components in the battery must come from the US, Canada or Mexico by 2024, and 100% by 2028; and at least 40% of the raw minerals in the battery must come from the US or “a trade ally” in 2024, and 80% in 2026.
