Nissan International SA will begin taking orders today for the Nissan LEAF EV in Portugal and the Republic of Ireland. Nissan LEAF deliveries begin in Portugal in January, Ireland in February and the UK in March. Sales are now expected to start in June 2011, with pre-orders opening to customers in October this year.

Suzuki has unveiled the 2024 Swift in the Japanese market and now the brand has announced that it will go on sale in the UK and Republic of Ireland from April 2024. In the Indian market, the 2024 Swift will go on sale in the coming months. There is a CVT automatic transmission available with both variants.
