Starting this week, insurance registration data will no longer be available, with Li Auto's sharing a surprise exception. The major sources that provide insurance registration data for China's auto industry have stopped sharing the data, but Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) has shared content that allows us to still have access to some of the data.

The Detroit News reported that GM has decided to produce the Cadillac Converj, an extended range electric vehicle derived from the Voltec platform. Cadillac included the Converj concept car at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. Earlier post.) A production date has not been set, according to the report.

No less an auto industry titan as Ford has also made bidirectional charging a selling point of their F-150 Lightning electric truck, reportedly slated to roll off the lines this year. A side benefit could be plugging in appliances to the car while camping rough.

With its extended range of electric passenger and commercial vehicle models, Ford expects its annual sales of electric vehicles in Europe to exceed 600,000 units in 2026, and also reaffirmed its intention to deliver a 6% EBIT margin in Europe in 2023. Ford will have nine electric cars and vans on the market in Europe in 2024.

According to reports in the Detroit News , General Motors has decided to produce the Cadillac Converj, which will be an extended range electric vehicle derived from the Voltec platform. The concept car originally made its debut earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show.

We noted in December that the Society of Automotive Engineers, or SAE, was working to update standards for the interface between plug-in electric cars and the grid, and planned to agree on a set within months.
