Jörg Nikutta, Managing Director Alstom Germany and Austria, RMV Managing Director Prof. Alstom is supplying the iLint hydrogen trains ( earlier post ) for the Taunusbahn, Infraserv Höchst will operate the future hydrogen filling station and the State of Hesse and RMV are setting the course for the future and financing them.

They are intended for use in the eastern region in Austria, where they will replace the current diesel fleet. The vehicle has an operating range of around 100 kilometers. This means that the regional train can be battery operated on almost all of the non-electrified routes in Austria, for example.

Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Porsche Charging Service enables access to the charging points of a range of providers all over the world. Last year, Porsche participated in a further round of financing for this joint venture.

Four variants of the new range of zero-emissions EV80 battery electric vehicles are on display in Hannover, and two Maxus EV80 vans are available for visitors to test drive.

Alternatively, one hour of 19 kW AC standard charging will add around 12 miles of driving range.
