Mercedes-Benz has officially received certification to operate its SAE Level 3 autonomous driving system, DRIVE PILOT, in Nevada, making it the first brand to do so in the United States. The DRIVE PILOT system is officially certified to operate on “suitable freeway sections” in Nevada in high-traffic density situations.
