The Hertz Corporation and Liberty Tire Recycling are launching the first nationwide tire recycling program in the US car rental industry. Additionally, Hertz’s car sharing service, Hertz On Demand, offers EV options, including the Nissan LEAF, Chevy Volt and Mitsubishi iMiev.

After months of speculation about its future, General Motors Corporation has reached agreements with the US Treasury and the governments of Canada and Ontario for the creation of a new smaller and self-sustaining GM.
