Denmark leads the way when it comes to putting zero-emission urban buses on the streets in Europe, with 78% of new vehicles being electric, according to the latest data from green NGO Transport & Environment. In Luxembourg and the Netherlands about two-thirds of new buses were zero-emissions.

The two models will be BYD's new batch of all-electric models in Europe, following the launch of the Han, Tang and ATTO 3 in Europe last year, and will be the first Ocean series models to be launched for the European market. Han is the company's flagship all-electric sedan, and Tang EV is its flagship SUV.

The Mercedes-Benz eActros heavy-duty electric truck, with a range of up to 200 km, is in intensive use by customers in Germany and Switzerland as part of the eActros “innovation fleet”. In addition, all European Daimler Trucks & Buses plants will be CO 2 -neutral by the year 2022. All other plants will follow.
