Toyota Alabama sole producer of hybrid-electric twin-turbo V6 and twin-turbo V6 for new Tundra

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama (TMMAL) held an event to mark the first of Toyota’s latest engine products for the all-new 2022 Tundra ( earlier post ) to come off the production line. These additional engines push the total capacity for Toyota Alabama engine production to up to 900,000 engines per year.

Mazda, Toyota select Alabama for $1.6B new US auto manufacturing plant

Mazda and Toyota have selected Huntsville, Alabama as the site of their new joint-venture manufacturing plant. The site for the new plant is in Huntsville, located approximately 14 miles from Toyota’s Alabama plant (Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc.). The facility is expected to create up to 4,000 jobs.

Mercedes to Move EQS SUV Production to Make Room for GLC EV in Alabama

Mercedes-Benz to set up EV production in US, battery plant; $1B investment in Alabama
