Honda will unveil the new Sports EV Concept at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show in October as part of a broad range of advanced two- and four-wheeled production and concept vehicles. Show visitors will also be able to see the Honda NeuV personal mobility concept and the all-new CR-V, both of which will make their Japanese debuts.

At CES 2017, Honda will showcase what it calls a future technology path toward a redefined mobility experience. The exhibit will include the NeuV, a concept automated EV commuter vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) called the “emotion engine” that creates new possibilities for human interaction and new value for customers.

At the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show (7-19 March), Toyota will host the world premiere of the i-TRIL Concept. At the show, Toyota will also introduce the new 2017 Yaris alongside its sporty derivative, the Yaris GRMN—powered by a supercharged 1.8-liter liter engine that will produce more than 210 DIN hp.

Honda unveiled its Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem concept at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, connecting artificial intelligence, robotics and big data to transform the mobility experience of the future. The company also introduced Honda Riding Assist, a concept motorcycle that applies Honda’s robotics technology to maintain balance.

Continental first introduced eHorizon at the 62nd IAA Commercial vehicles event in 2008 as a concept for a control unit providing other vehicle systems with a digital map preview. The Bikefinder function allows motorcyclists to locate their motorcycle even in a busy underground parking lot, using Bluetooth Low Energy and Radio frequency.

On the motorcycle front, Honda will introduce the EV-CUB, a mass-production model developed based on the EV-CUB Concept electric motorcycle ( earlier post ), to the Japanese market about 2 years from now, and then subsequently in main ASEAN countries, which has been the largest market for the Honda Cub Series.
