During 2015 Danish national plans call for five additional hydrogen stations; this will ensure that more than 50% of the population will be less than 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from a station.

Toyota will launch the Mirai fuel cell vehicle in Sweden and Norway this summer, following other European countries that have introduced the Toyota Mirai in 2015 (UK, Germany and Denmark) or early 2016 (Belgium). The Mirai launched in Japan in December 2014 and in the US in 2015. The Netherlands will follow later this year.

Following the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and Belgium, Norway is the 5 th European country to start selling the fuel cell sedan. The program offers many incentives that will make fuel cell cars even more attractive: these cars are exempt from registration taxes and value added tax, which can be very high in the country.
