So imagine a million electric cars on US roads which all need to change these batteries in say 2015. Chevron owns the NiMH patents and have not allowed EV size batts to be built. The huge hill of used batteries represents a major problem with the toxic acid and lead inside. Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
