Nissan North America Inc. Nissan has re-opened reservations and has begun taking orders from the general public for the 2012 Nissan LEAF in Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Nissan LEAF is now available for order in 30 states, including Washington, D.C.

Nissan and Endesa, an Enel Group subsidiary, signed an agreement at the Geneva International Motor Show pledging to work together to deliver a mass-market V2G system and an innovative business model designed to leverage this technology. We believe this innovation represents a significant development for Nissan Leaf and e-NV200 customers.

The announcement that BMW is the new automotive sponsor for the 2012 London Olympic Games, is a ‘serious disappointment’ according to the Autocar’s Hilton Holloway. Among the other contenders was Nissan, who promised that of the 4000 vehicles needed, at least 2,000 would have been the all-electric Nissan Leaf.

We’ll finally get to see the new Nissan August 2nd. I’m kind of excited to see this car, having tested the drivetrain in the Nissan Cube. The best thing about the Nissan is the expected price range of $25K- $34K. The gamble is that Nissan could grab the EV market and dominate it until BYD (China) enters the U.S.,
