New York City is adding 70 electric vehicles to its fleet: 50 new Chevrolet Volts, 10 fully electric Ford Transit Connect cargo vans, and 10 new fully electric Navistar E-star utility trucks. It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Sorry the market killed the EV1. you see that?
