It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. you see that?
