Mitsubishi Motors (MMC) will launch a plug-in hybrid version of its new Outlander (introduced at the current Geneva Motor Show) during the course of FY2012 (1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013). The new PHEV Outlander will be a permanent 4WD electric vehicle, supplemented by a gasoline engine when needed.
