KPMG survey finds global auto execs ranking fuel efficiency the top consumer priority

When asked to predict global market share winners over the next five years, Ford jumped to 43% seeing market share gains compared with 29% in 2010 and 13% in 2009. The vehicle categories seeing the most significant response increases in the 2011 survey compared with 2010 were SUVs, luxury vehicles, large pick-up trucks, and cross-overs.
