Start-up Bright Automotive, which in May unveiled its IDEA concept series plug-in hybrid light commercial van ( earlier post ), will convert VW Transporter vans with the series hybrid Bright powertrain as a bridge between the concept and the production version of the IDEA. DOE published a final rule on 12 June 2000. The PEF adopted by DOE in the 2000 Final Rule is based, in part, on the existing regulatory approach which provides procedures determining the petroleum-equivalent fuel economy of non-EV alternative fueled vehicles. DOE has not updated this since the June 2000 Final Rule.

The SMP model calculates 2000?2050 The Ford team updated the SMP model with historical data for 2000, 2005, and 2010, and extended the model to calculate the total CO 2 emissions (tonnes) and the TTW (tank-to-wheel) emission rate (g CO 2 /km) for the new vehicle fleet. They converted from an absolute amount to scale relative to 2000.

Through the E-KIZUNA Project, Honda aims to reduce household CO 2 emissions to half of year 2000 levels by 2015. By integrating the heat exchanger with the catalytic converter and enhancing the cooling system design, a heat recovery rate of 65.7% has been attained.

Maximum output is 47 kW at 3000-6000 rpm, with maximum torque of 180 N·m (133 lb-ft) from 0-2000 rpm.
