A recent study reported that ozone’s damage to crop yields in 2000 resulted in an economic loss of up to $26 billion annually. Biochar comes from cooking biomass waste at low temperatures with minimal oxygen (pyrolysis). We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. Commendation, absolutely, but GM needs to make sure their company continues on to make sure that money doesnt just go to waste. The intolerable act is to pretend that making cars into plug-ins will reduce CO2.
