My lifetime tally is 231 mpg, which means I’ve used less than 80 gallons of gas over the car’s 42 months on the road. The number of EVs in my neighborhood seems to be growing weekly. After 3 ½ years my mpg is well north of 200 mpg (the measurement tops out at 250 mpg, which is my goal). The Tesla adapter is a must in my neighborhood. More Volt Stories from the Archives: Personal: Chevrolet Volt & Accell Charger. It’s a shame plug-in hybrids seem to be falling out of favor.

The EPA estimates fuel economy to be 13 mpg city/20 highway/16 combined running on 91 octane. The Maserati Ghibli Trofeo drew stares, which is saying something in car-crazy Southern California, where every exotic is roaming free on the highways and can be found tucked away behind gates in tony neighborhoods.

I was not the only person needing assistance, as at two of our charging stops there were other drivers on the phone with Electrify America. The turning radius was impressive, making for easy U-turns in your neighborhood. We also feature those efficient gas-powered vehicles that are among the top mpg vehicles in their class.
