New vehicles to be deployed include 55 CNG vehicles, 363 propane vehicles, 89 hybrid electric vehicles, and 56 neighborhood electric vehicles. The project will replace 180 diesel drayage trucks at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach with LNG trucks. Total DOE award: $12,975,388.

The primary customers right now are the ports—Port of Long Beach, Port of Los Angeles—and the ports around the country are usually in urban environments. It’s a huge water-cooled cable. If they’re not getting treated right, they can move relatively easily, so you want to retain your drivers. Garbage trucks.
