Together, we designed and integrated a low-voltage Li-ion battery management system featuring ISL78714 ICs and RH850 microcontrollers in Mahindra Racing electric race cars.

A new assembly system called “kitting” has been put in place at the Mulhouse plant in France. The powered rear axle is driven by one of the electric motors, providing a 4WD application and capability. Total system power is 300 hp. The DS project team paid particular attention to how this car would be assembled.

ALTe already has Gen 1 proof-of-concept systems running in a Crown Vic taxi equipped with a 20 kWh Li-ion battery pack.
