See below: "EVJerry" Asher brought the "Spirit of DC" Plug-In Toyota Prius to visit the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association (LVEVA) on Monday, November 24th. It was transferred to the body of the Toyota Prius, next to the logos of some of the 38 other EAA chapter locations that Jerry had visited during his amazing journey.

Hybrid systems other than the input power-split design pioneered by Toyota 17 years ago are still in early stages of development, and present huge opportunities to reduce cost through better designs, learning, and economies of scale. The downside is the cost associated for the two large electric motors and associated power electronics.
