The 2021 Honda Insight hybrid enters the new model year with minor changes, including more safety tech. Gas mileage ratings remain unchanged, at 52 mpg combined (55 mpg city, 49 mpg highway) for all trim levels except the top-level Touring, which is rated at a slightly lower at 48 mpg combined (51 mpg city, 45 mpg highway).

As the next step in Honda’s electrification strategy in North America, the company will focus on increasing hybrid volume of core models: CR-V, Accord and, in the future, Civic. To make room for these moves, Honda will conclude Insight production in June. Honda Electrified Future.

For 2015, the Civic Hybrid continues the 2014 car''s gas mileage of 45 mpg combined (44 mpg city, 47 mpg highway), itself an improvement on the 2013 model''s 44 mpg all-round.

Although the Honda Insight was eagerly awaited before it launched as a 2010 model, the little hybrid hatchback has never come remotely close to its sales goals. But the company isn't giving up, and the new 2012 Honda Insight features revised front styling, a nicer interior, and improved gas mileage ratings.
