As per the electric vehicle maker, Tesla drivers have driven over 1 billion miles on FSD. That’s a cumulative number of miles that exceeds the distance between the Earth and Saturn. A graph shared by the electric vehicle maker hints that a big ramp in cumulative FSD miles was achieved in recent months.

Just 20 feet long, the smaller Zevo 400 is expected to fit into standard parking places (at least in some areas) but will offer the same projected range—up to 250 miles—as the Zevo 600.

Smart will be launching a test fleet of 250 electric cars in selected areas, including: Portland, San Jose, Indianapolis, Orlando, and the Washington, D.C. A number of startups showed off their porposals to retrofit the existing fleets of petroleum-fueled vehicles, giving some hope to Andy Grove’s ambitoious desire to create millions of plug-in conversions before the automakers deliver. Representatives of GM stoked the clamor for the Volt, and a Saturn Vue plug-in hybrid sat on the show floor.

Though 12 miles is well short of the 40 plus miles of the upcoming Chevy Volt, the costs associated with the hybrid system should also fall well short of the Volts costly power train. The plug-in version will only be available for fleet service and will not be sold at retail to the general public. .

will convert three of DTE Energy’s fleet Saturn VUE SUVs to battery electric powertrains. The all-electric DTE Energy fleet Saturn Vues will be powered by Amp’s exclusive modular electric powertrain system. DTE Energy plans to take delivery of the first of three Amp’d fleet vehicles in December.
