Not waterproof: The e-scooter does have a water-resistance rating of IPX5, but that’s not enough to ride in the rain or to get wet. The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
