I imagine there will be tax incentives to build green generators when were at that stage. Neutral richii @ Apr 19th 2009 5:28PM @ everyone, I can see what your trying to say, that without gas powered vehicles that a much larger strain will be put on electrical facilities that also contribute to air pollution and degrade our environment.

If he thought he had passed the carbon tax or climate bill torch to someone else he was confident would bring it across the finish line he would have said so. And that absence of hope comes from a career in DC and being able to smell the crazy juice being guzzled down by the corporate right and their shameless suckups and sycophants. .

For on-the-go juice ups, the idea is to exchange your dead battery for a fresh one owned by Better Place. While government data suggests the retail price of electricity is somewhere around 10 cents per KWH, the addition of taxes and fees puts the price somewhere aorund 16 cents per KWH on my electric bill. I’m depressed.

Therefore, until we get quick-charge batteries -- based on new breakthroughs, Ill take a WAG and estimate that we will have real 5-minute quick-charge batteries in perhaps 10 years -- we are likely to get our juice mostly from our home chargers.
