As of June 15, 2022, Ford will no longer offer the opportunity to purchase its three all-electric vehicles, the F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, and E-Transit Van, for new leases. Ford informed dealers in a letter that it was discontinuing the end-of-lease purchase option for the E-Transit van, Mustang Mach-E, and F-150 Lightning.

Depending on an individual’s tax situation, the Spark EV ( earlier post ) is eligible for federal tax credit up to $7,500. California and Maryland Spark EV owners may also qualify for a $2,500 California state rebate or $2,300 Maryland excise tax exemption.

AeroVironment has installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Marriott Waikiki in Hawaii. The new chargers are part of Hawaii’s growing charging infrastructure currently being deployed to support electric vehicles. In March of this year AeroVironment received a $820,000 contract from the Hawaii EV Ready Grants Program.

Nissan provided a list of the top 15 markets in the US for the Nissan LEAF battery-electric vehicle. LEAF is among the top ten best-selling vehicles, regardless of powertrain. Georgia has a tax credit worth up to $5,000 for zero-emissions vehicles. Oregon has a Chief EV Officer to promote EV use.
