Needless to say, EV sales are increasing globally. In fact, China accounted for half of the worldwide growth of EV sales in 2021, and IEA writes that more EVs were purchased there in 2021 than in the entire rest of the world throughout 2020. How is the United States doing with electric vehicle adoption?

According to a new report from Navigant Research, there are now almost 64,000 public charging stations installed globally. Overall, Navigant Research expects global sales of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) to grow from around 442,000 units in 2013 to 4.3 million in 2022, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28.8%.
