New catalytic process to convert lignin into jet-range hydrocarbons

Researchers at Washington State University (WSU) Tri-Cities have developed a catalytic process to convert corn stover lignin into hydrocarbons (C 7 –C 18 )—primarily C 12 –C 18 cyclic structure hydrocarbons in the jet fuel range.
