Porsche will unveil the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid with controlled all-wheel drive and an electric range of 50 kilometers (31 miles) at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The all-wheel Porsche achieves a top speed of 278 km/h (173 mph) and delivers a system torque of 700 N·m from stationary without hesitation.

Porsche unveiled the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid plug-in hybrid ( earlier post )—the fourth model in the Panamera line—at the Paris Motor Show. l/100 km (94 mpg US) in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) for plug-in hybrid models, with up to 50 km (31 miles) all-electric range. That corresponds to CO 2 emissions of 56 g/km.

Dr. Martin Winterkorn said that “ The Porsche Mission E and the Audi e-tron quattro concept are nothing less than a quantum leap for our industry ”—both vehicles have an all-electric range of 500 kilometers (311 miles). Audi will present an all-electric, luxury-class sport SUV in early 2018. Audi e-tron quattro.

The first two mainstream plug-in hybrid electric vehicles from the Volkswagen Group—e.g., The new Mark 7 Golf, which is MQB-based, offers gasoline; diesel; natural gas; plug-in hybrid (the GTE); and battery-electric (the e-Golf) versions, all of which can be manufactured bumper-to-bumper on the same assembly line.

Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Not all were, of course, as there is still plenty of interest around gasoline-propelled cars, SUVs and trucks.
