Since forming in 2013, Argent Materials, a San Francisco Bay Area recycler of concrete and asphalt, and supplier of aggregate such as crushed rock, entry, cutback, sand, backfill and base rock for construction projects, has diverted more than a billion pounds of waste from local landfills. There’s no change in engine performance.

The project will use Genifuel hydrothermal processing technology (HTP) to convert wastewater solids into renewable natural gas as well as liquid fuels. HTP uses subcritical water and pressure (350 °C and 207 bar) to convert the wet organics into crude oil and natural gas. Lipids, proteins, and carbs are converted to oil.

GEKOT will integrate its technical solutions package into Razor electric scooters soon to be deployed on the campus of Oakland University. The campus-wide study will evaluate the effectiveness of GEKOT’s solutions.
