Out in the desert as part of Burning Man , our encampment, Snow Koan Solar, is setting up a solar photovoltaic EV Charging Station (at 7:30 and Desert) for electric scooters, golf carts, sofas and barstools. Their Rechargeit.org campaign really makes the connections between renewable power and plug-in cars. Back after Labor Day.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. The fact that no journalists do their research to bring up all those connections is sad, sad. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
