The cost of buying and running an EV varies depending on where you live. Based on Jerry’s research, an EV-friendly state like Vermont has 10 times the charging infrastructure of states on the bottom of the list like Louisiana, Kentucky and Alaska. In contrast, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Dakota and Kansas had no incentives.

Clean Vehicle Credit : This $7,500 credit was renamed, reshaped, and split in two parts: $3,750 if the vehicle’s battery is manufactured or assembled in North America. The IRA restores the 30% tax credit for an EVSE, and its cost of installation, to a maximum credit of $1000 (businesses may claim a larger amount).

Clean Fleet Report drove the Lexus ES 300h F Sport that comes highly equipped as-is, but when a few packages and options were added (totaling $5,735), it was as fully featured as any car can be.
