Fuel economy for the Recharge is 55 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) when you use electricity and gasoline and drops to 27 mpg when you don’t charge up the battery. The EPA’s green scores on the standard 0-10 scale, where 10 is best, include a 7 for Smog, 7 for MPG the Fuel Economy score and a 9 for CO 2 on Greenhouse Gas score.

The Environmental Protection Agency rates the Corsair’s fuel economy at 33 mpg highway and combined when running in hybrid mode only. On a 68-mile run, setting the adaptive cruise control at 65 mph and after fully charging the battery, we averaged 58 mpg. As part of these events we may be offered free transportation, lodging or meals.

EAA chapters across the country continue to organize events at showings of the movie, including Q&A sessions after the film, leafletting with cards and flyers with information about electric cars, the Electric Auto Association, and Plug In America. Cars have gotten cleaner, but there are more of them.
