It has unveiled the full-size GMC Sierra EV Denali pick-up, joining the GMC Hummer and Chevrolet Silverado EV in its line-up. As per the Hummer and Chev, the Sierra EV Denali is based on GM’s Ultium EV architecture, powertrains and battery tech. US giant General Motors is now an electric ute triple threat.

GM is betting heavily on the market turning to EVs as it fields a variety of products ranging from the Chevrolet Bolt to the Cadillac Lyriq to the GMC Hummer EV. When the EVs arrive, like most GM electrics, they will be built on the Ultium battery platform that underpins the Lyriq, Hummer and upcoming Silverado, Equinox and Blazer.
