The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. Toyota still has not made any money on the Prius. I’m sick of hearing about the Prius….I I don’t want one of those either.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. More often than not, the “recycling&# of NiMH or lithium-ion batteries involves shipping them off to places like China, where their fate is truly unknown.
