The new Mitsubishi Triton is joining the petrol-electric plug-in hybrid rush alongside the 2024 BYD ute and 2025 Ford Ranger PHEV. Kia Niro EV review: It was only in 2021 that Kia introduced the Niro nameplate to Australia. Whereas the original Niro was available as a regular hybrid , a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a battery electric vehicle (EV), the new model does without the PHEV option. But even as a hybrid the Niro doesn’t come particularly cheap.
