SporTran, a paratransit and fixed route transit services provider, with service to Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana, has deployed the state’s first fleet of battery-electric buses in Shreveport. The five Proterra 40' Catalyst E2 buses will go into service this month, and serve Louisiana’s third-largest city.

The Synthetic Fuels Division was launched in 2014 as part of the acquisition of Syntroleum ( earlier post ) that included the 75 million gallon per year nameplate capacity biorefinery located in Geismar, Louisiana. Genesis News Announcements New Charging Standard Genesis took this opportunity to reveal, beginning in Q4 2024, all their electric models will use the North American Charging Standard (NACS) that will give Genesis owners access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers in North America. Currently all GV60 models are all-wheel drive.
