At IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Porsche is presenting the Mission R concept electric car that combines advanced technologies and sustainable materials, such as natural fibre-reinforced plastics, with a passion for racing. The Mission R is on a par with the performance level of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

Porsche is expanding its Taycan lineup with the introduction of two new high-performance models — the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package. While Porsche used a pre-series Taycan Turbo GT for its Nürburgring run, the vehicle nevertheless achieved an incredible lap time of 7:07.55

The e-tron houses two asynchronous electric motors (ASM) that produce up to 402 horsepower in boost mode. A more powerful, three-motor variant with fully independent rear torque vectoring is also under development. For the e-tron GT, Audi is sharing synergies with the Porsche brand, which developed the J1 architecture.
