At that point, we expect the aftermarket companies prices to have come down sufficiently so that their conversions will be attractive to owners of hundreds of thousands of hybrids already on the road. We will have similar solutions available for better (but more expensive) nickel-metal hydride or lithium-ion batteries.)

We now have three working converted prototypes (both described in Fact Sheet above, shown in photos and here ): The Calcars first proof-of-concept: (100+ mpg plus electricity, 10-mile electric range, now with temporary lead-acid battery pack, soon to be replaced by nickel metal-hydride batteries). That’s certainly the case here in Torrance, California where I live and work. We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. The property owners pay off the loans as an assessment item on their property tax bills. Most have no idea.
