That’s certainly the case here in Torrance, California where I live and work. We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. The property owners pay off the loans as an assessment item on their property tax bills. Most have no idea.

Toyotas Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries are considered "non-hazardous waste" [See "high voltage electrical systems" ]. Better yet, make a tax-deductible contribution. Though the Ni-MH batteries were originally warranteed for 75,000 miles, these cars have routinely exceed 120,000 miles and are still going strong.
