Battery packs from BYD, CATL, and Tesla all reported having 1 million km of usable life. In the coming decade, battery prices will go down, whereas the cost of petrol will keep going up. million pre-orders BYD claims that their Blade Battery would last for 1.2 I expect BYD to be one of the world's largest EV makers in the world.

Apart from the price, the only other drawback fo the car is its suspension. Also meeting BYD e6 owner! Started the day with a visit to India’s first owner of the BYD B6 car. The BYD is going to be Jay’s car now. The BYD folks use kWh per 100 km - please spare us guys and move on to wh/km.)

Nudged them to consider the BYD. So you can get max juice out of the battery. Prices are reasonable. Chatted up with a few curious cabbies and did the electric math with them. Unfortunately, both the Nexon and Tigor Ziptron are not available for commercial sales. It is a damn good Innova substitute.
