Here's one of those first-generation Fairlanes, found in a self-service boneyard just south of Denver, Colorado. It was painted in Vintage Burgundy with beige interior, had a two-barrel 289-cubic-inch V8 bolted to a three-speed Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission and was sold through the Denver sales office.

I discovered a Mexican-market '06 Peugeot 407 in a Denver boneyard, earlier this year, and thought years would pass before the next time I'd hear the ghosts of André Citroën , Louis Renault , and Armand Peugeot singing La Marseillaise over a car graveyard. In 1959, a new Renault Dauphine cost $1,645 (about $17,416 in 2023 dollars).

Today's Junkyard Find is an example of the sporty coupe version of the first-generation Saturn S , found in a Denver-area boneyard recently. This being a top-trim-level SC2, it has a twin-cam engine and a nicer interior than the SC1. liter DOHC engine and its 124 horsepower/122 pound-foot engine was still there.
