You can buy it now. How many millions have they spent to develop a vehicle that you cant buy, that no one is prepared to service and that most Americans wouldnt want if you gave it to them? Give me a vanilla version without the revenue generating doodads and Ill buy one or two. Maybe three.

Renewables That Even Coal-Based Utilities Can Love. Instead they could buy back electricity at peak hours from vehicle drivers. And yes, buy cheap (night) sell high (day) and sell local (remember there are HUGE line losses in the common interstate grids- more so in daytime high power draw hours. Remember its PURE D.C.

Seattle says it intends to help develop the charging network; consider incentives for buying and using the cars, and creating charging stations; consider regulatory changes to support the cars, such as streamlined permitting for installing charging outlets; and consider leasing or buying the cars for its fleet.
