Sweden’s plugin electric vehicle share reached 55.7% Full electrics grew share strongly, whilst plugin hybrids lost share slightly. April’s combined plugin result of 55.7% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). The Nio ET5, which first appeared last month with 6 units, is still just treading water for now, with 3 units in April.

The auto market in Germany saw plugin EVs take 22.9% Full electrics gained share, but were outpaced by the losses in plugin hybrid share, due to recent policy changes. May’s overall plugin result of 22.9% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). The BMW i4 saw its best ever monthly volume, at 1,347 units, climbing to 8th place.

June saw plugin EVs at 24.6% to 18.9%, the share of plugin hybrids halved, however, after incentives were cut. With combined plugin EVs at 24.6% share in June, full electrics (BEVs) contributed 18.9%, and plugin hybrids (PHEVs) contributed 5.7%. share in Germany, down from 26.0% year on year.
