Fisker Automotive has signed an agreement with BMW that will cover the supply of engines and other components for future Fisker models. The first ‘Project Nina’ derivative will be a mid-size premium sedan utilizing Fisker’s Ever (electric vehicle with extended range) technology.

On 11 August, GM invited approximately 75 journalists and auto analysts to spend a day learning about the new GM. The day was split between a morning session at the GM tech center in Warren and an afternoon session at the GM proving grounds in Milford, MI. Electrification, a buzz-word at rival GM, didn't appear to be gaining much headway in Dearborn. As with the BMW MINI E , what is stunning, if not surprising, is how quickly a decent fully electric vehicle can be put on the road.
