This is not only my first time taking on an EV project, but also my first time writing a blog. 36/48 volt. I am leaning towards a golf cart or forklift motor. I am leaning towards a golf cart or forklift motor. This is a 24 volt system, and made for flat, hard surfaces. Golf cart motor ?

As you may have noticed, the blog entries have dropped off rather abruptly in recent weeks. I should be getting the 18 8-volt golf-cart batteries from American Battery Company early next week. As you might imagine, I'm a bit frustrated with this and don't really know what to do next.

Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, which is expected to sell for $40,000 when it goes on sales in the U.S. GM plans to launch the Volt in China in 2011. and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. Those prices are much lower than that of General Motors Corp.s in late 2010.

The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. The Chevy Volt is going to count on an overnight charge from a standard wall outlet. There are choices for 110 volt versus 220 volt, slow versus quick charges, and solar options. By 2011 look for a larger THINK Ox.
