While people can purchase neighborhood electric vehicles today for about $10K, they only have a top speed of 35 miles an hour or so, essentially glorified golf-carts. This blog is the story of my path towards that goal. There's a kit for the Chevy S-10 pickup, but many people just want a practical car to zip around in.

Think Global was formerly known as Think City, a prior Ford Motor Company ( F ) acquisition and part of a now-defunct Think division at Ford. The Think Global would definitly be classified as a mini-car, several size classes smaller than a compact car like the Honda Civic or Ford Focus. a subsidiary of Ener1 Inc. ENON.OB ) ).

If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
